The Center for International Studies’ Summer Teacher Institutes are intended primarily for elementary through community college educators but open to all interested parties. These multi-day workshops explore various comparative and transnational issues each summer and are often co-sponsored by the Centers for East Asian Studies, East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, the South Asia Language and Area Center and the Program on the Global Environment.
